COVID-19 Relief

In a bid to support the government infrastructure, we committed to a significant part of its CSR contribution:

  • The smart clinics continue to play a pivotal role during the ongoing pandemic. In keeping with the “Test, Track and Treat” strategy of the Government in India, the clinics will be able to ramp up the number of daily COVID-19 tests rapidly. This has been possible due to the availability of staff well-versed with digital health techniques since they are trained on electronic medical records (EMR) and integrated diagnostics. Therefore, the staff were to be immediately deputed for contact tracing and RT-PCR testing in the field upon the COVID-19 outbreak. Data sets will be regularly updated by staff in the field through the software application of ICMR. With the commencement of the COVID-19 vaccination program, the staff have also been deputed for vaccination-related data entry.
  • We, through the Foundation, conduct any vaccination drive at smart clinic for residents. The EMR data plays a major role in identifying priority groups such as geriatric patients, co-morbidities and differently abled people for vaccination. Our front-line health care workers at the centers continue to work with the Government health workforce for COVID-19 management activities such as RT-PCR testing, contact tracing and vaccination program.
  • In association with the Foundation, meals will be distributed to doctors, nurses, Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) workers, crematoria staff, ambulance drivers and other allied healthcare workers at primary healthcare centers.
